Stephanie Routh is the Recipient of the 2012 PS Fund Grant and We are Sending a Member to the National Bike Summit

We are happy to announce that Stephanie Routh is the recipient of the 2012 Portland Society Fund grant! Stephanie plans to use her $1,000 grant to develop new communication tools in transportation advocacy with the IPRC’s Fiction/Creative Nonfiction Certificate Program.

The Portland Society Fund Committee is also excited to announce that we will offer one Portland Society member the chance to attend the National Bike Summit in Washington D.C. on March 4-7th, 2013. This opportunity will build the attendee’s skills and amplify the Portland Society’s voice on a national stage to the benefit of our organization, Portland’s community, and the attendee’s own profession or business.

The Fund plans to sponsor one member each year. The sponsorship includes up to $1,000 for travel and conference registration fees.

Applications for the Portland Society Bike Summit scholarship are available on the Portland Society website and are due October 31st, 2012.
